Joe's  "Bernicia" and  T.I.D.

Hello Martin,
I thought you may be interested in my two latest tug models photographed alongside at Tynemouth.

The larger of the two. "Bernicia" is a freelance model 40 inches O.A.L. and the T.I.D. is about 36 inches long.
Both are scratch built on home brewed G.R.P. hulls and their respective superstructures are fabricated from plastic card.

Both tugs are powered by Buhler motors driving home made props and running gear. "Bernicia" will turn in just over her length and steer well astern because I cheated by fitting a Kort nozzle. A case of out of sight out of mind !!
