NORTHSIDER - IRONDISER.
These Tyne tugs were built in 1967 to work on the Tyne and to do many
coastal and sea towing jobs.
The models are built to a scale of 1;24 which is 1/2" to the foot, the model is
49" long , and comes with a one piece GRP moulded superstructure, GRP moulded
clinker built lifeboat, 2 sets of full size plans.
FITTINGS.
The boat comes with all major fittings, ie, winches, vents, portholes, capstan,
radar, lights, and many more,
Although the boat is a semi kit, you get about 95% of the boat in the kit.

" FLYING PHANTOM"
Built in 1981, for the Clyde shipping company, she was designed to tow or push
super-tankers up to 300,000 tons. The model, is built to a scale of 1/32, the
model being 45" long, once again comes with a one piece GRP moulded
superstructure, two sets of full size plans.
FITTINGS.
Once again all major fittings come with the boat, anchor winch, main sea
towing winch, after winch, fire monitors, radar, vents doors, bollards, lights &
loads more, in fact this model comes about 97% complete. White metal
fittings are all cast in pewter (95% tin) for better detail.
